Nvidia’s RTX Pro 5500 Blackwell Workstation Edition is an 84GB GPU designed for rack-mounted professional workstations. Rather than targeting conventional desktop gaming, it is intended for organizations that centralize GPU capacity and share it across teams working with demanding workloads.
The card sits between Nvidia’s 72GB RTX Pro 5000 configuration and the 96GB RTX Pro 6000 in memory capacity. Its 84GB of GDDR7 ECC memory is built to support workloads that can exceed the limits of a standard PC, including AI models, robotics simulations, rendering, engineering, and scientific datasets.
84GB GDDR7 ECC Memory for AI and Professional Workloads
The RTX Pro 5500 includes 84GB of GDDR7 ECC memory. That capacity can hold larger AI models, support longer context windows, or run multiple models at the same time without repeatedly moving data elsewhere.
