Rockstar Games already faced fresh GTA 6 footage circulating online just days before its August 27 showcase. Now another group has stepped forward, claiming access to a separate set of internal development material.

Reddit posts flagged by Notebookcheck describe a second group that appears unrelated to CyberLeek. The group says it has internal GTA 6 development material. One piece circulating is an unpublished screenshot reportedly from an April 2026 build, along with development files. If the material is real, it would be newer than some of the footage already online.

What the Second Group Claims to Have

The group has shared development files, shader-related material, and what it presents as evidence of an internal GTA 6 build. Some claims link the material to Xbox development hardware. Conflicting reports suggest at least some of it may actually be running on a PC.

A Reddit post states the group gained access by phishing a Rockstar India employee. No independent confirmation of that account exists. Other users have raised doubts about whether the files are truly new. Some argue the material could trace back to the large 2022 GTA 6 breach instead.

Rockstar’s History With GTA 6 Leaks

This episode fits a longer pattern of leaks. In September 2022, more than 90 clips from an early GTA 6 build appeared online in one of the biggest leaks the gaming industry has seen. In December 2023 the game’s first official trailer leaked hours early, prompting Rockstar to release it ahead of schedule.

Activity picked up again this month after Rockstar announced GTA VI: An Extended Look. The presentation will premiere on Netflix before arriving on YouTube. Netflix Portugal reportedly showed placeholders pointing to three episodes and a runtime of more than an hour.

Days after that announcement, CyberLeek started releasing fresh gameplay footage. Clips show Jason driving, fighting, and playing basketball. The group also circulated other alleged GTA 6 material as Rockstar moved closer to its official presentation.

Two Potential Leak Sources at Once

A second group now claims it holds a separate and potentially much newer batch of files. If the material proves genuine, Rockstar could be managing two GTA 6 leak sources at the same time, just before it has a chance to show the game properly.
