Assassin's Creed Valhalla is getting New Game+, while Black Flag Resynced has received its final major content update. Assassin's Creed Valhalla adds New Game+
Ubisoft is celebrating Valhalla's milestone of more than 40 million players by introducing New Game+ on November 5. The mode lets you begin Eivor's adventure again with much of your progress carried over. Difficulty scales to account for Eivor's increased strength, keeping raids challenging.
An optional system also changes how Eivor's overall Power is calculated. With it enabled, Gear, Runes, and Masteries all contribute to Power.
The update adds a stash, more runes, and additional achievements. It also introduces Mithril, a material used to upgrade Divine Gear and strengthen runes.
Black Flag Resynced receives its final major update
Ubisoft Singapore has added New Game+ and Nightmare Mode to Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced. This is the remake's final major content update, with extra finishers, trinkets, and additional customization options included.
Edward can now wear Blackbeard's outfit or his London clothes. You can also change the appearance of the Jackdaw and its sailors, giving the ship and crew a different look alongside Edward.
Ubisoft has no other Assassin's Creed remakes in development
No Ubisoft team is currently working on another Assassin's Creed remake. The company remains open to returning to older games in the future, but that possibility does not amount to another remake being in development.
For now, Black Flag Resynced's final major update arrives without a new remake underway elsewhere at Ubisoft.
Codename Invictus is being reworked
Ubisoft is revising its multiplayer project, Codename Invictus, following feedback from playtesters. Their concern was that the project needed to feel more like Assassin's Creed.
Codename Hexe, the franchise's darker upcoming adventure, is also part of Ubisoft's plans. Its next major update is not expected until 2027.
